The best transmitter I’ve ever owned, I pick up little to no interference at all. The back light display is real helpful to see stations at night time, compared to other transmitters that are hard to see and give you stations that are already in use, so there is alot of static. The only transmitter you will need for the rest of your life, pretty much better than all the rest.

Wanted to add the capability of playing both from my mp3 player and even from my Walkman tape cassette unit, so I decided to give this a try. I read the reviews and saw others had had various issues, but for the money thought it was worth a try. The unit works GREAT! I have gotten very little static on only a few occasions, and didn’t need to change the channel before the static disappeared. The sound quality was indistinguishable from the car stereo system itself.

One unexpected anomaly is that on my beemer the radio will automatically skip over stations with no signal, and I can’t override that, so I don’t have access to all of the eight pre-sets that this unit uses. I actually only have four of the eight available, but have not so far needed even all four. I’d recommend trying the listed stations on your car radio before purchasing this device, just to be sure you’ll have usable access.

The reception could be an issue depending on your area, but here in the Bay Area (Northern CA) I’ve encountered no problems.

owned it for about 3 weeks and works perfect it’s hard to find a station not in use sometimes but that’s going to happen with any transmitter.

After purchasing over 3 fm transmitters and either returning them or throwing them out, I purchased the Monster RadioPlay and love it!! The sound is clear with little or no interference over radio stations. When I drove through Hagerstown, Maryland, I heard a little static but the sound from the audiotape was strong enough to block radio interference. (The previous fm transmitters cut out altogether as radio stations took over.) This fm transmitter does not require full volume to maintain contact unlike my previous transmitters that sounded muffled under full volume. Although the station choices are limited, I found that I could remain with the same radio station as I commute through PA, Maryland, and West Virginia on a daily basis. All three of my other fm transmitters required constant changing of stations!

I haven’t tried this transmitter in populated areas outside of Hagerstown so you might want to check reviews from city commuters for fm transmitters that offer more stations. I highly recommend investing in this transmitter especially since you don’t have to use batteries.

I was skeptical about getting an FM transmitter after reading many many opinions and reviews about transmitters in general, not just this model. But I have not been let down yet. The sound is crystal clear, no static, no interference. Have tried it in more than 3 different vehicles, no problems at all. Very happy.

I used this product on a 5 week/3000 mile trip from Kentucky to Florida and back. We drove through plenty of big cities and used this item almost 100% of the time with my wife’s iPod Touch 2nd Gen. It does an awesome job and sounded to us like we were listing to an actual CD playing in the system. Perhaps 10 times out of the entire trip I would need to switch stations due to interference but switching is quick and easy. Just press the button once on the transmitter and turn your knob once click on your radio dial. Never once could we not find a usable station even through big cities like Atlanta and Orlando.

I am not sure if this matters, but our antenna is in the front of our vehicle so it was close to this little gem. Perhaps the negative reviews for this product have their antennas in the back of the vehicle thus being further away and not picking up the signal as well. I don’t know, but all I do know is we loved this thing.

I have been using this product for almost a year now, and it serves it’s purpose quite well. The sound quality is acceptable and worth having over static when I drive through areas that the radio does not catch anything. There is a big difference between this product, and plugging in an iPod to the “aux” jack of the car deck, but I’m using this in a car with no Aux jack and it saves the day! If you think of this device as a mini radio station broadcasting tower, it does a great job! I dedicated a radio preset button to match the frequency this product broadcasts at.

I tried an off brand $50 msrp device from Wal-Mart and the quality of the sound was much lower than this device. The other product was returned after 2 weeks of testing.

I bought this product based on the great reviews I saw and I am very, very pleased with this product. Everyone I know has had a hard time finding a FM transmitter that works and sounds good. This product WORKS and it the music SOUNDS GOOD. The only setback is that I found only one station in my area that is completely compatible with the device. However, that one station works great. I highly recommend this if you just want to listen to your own music on your ipod or mp3 rather than all of the crap on the radio.

For a transmitter without a charger, I wouldn’t spend a penny more for a product other that this one! Works best with the player volume up high, but it is more that loud enough. Plenty of preset frequencies to choose from. I was hesitant due to other reviews but I have no regrets, this item works great and shipped at lightning speed!
