I’ve only used this item for about a month, but it’s been working great. The only problem I had with it was getting the sound right. I had to adjust my MP3 volume along with my car stereo volume several times to get a good balance. Otherwise, it was all fuzzy. Super easy to use and no hassle. Would buy this brand again.

The product works well. The customer service provided by iPodAccs was impressive. I received my item quickly and in good condition. It was also a great buy since the cheapest I’ve seen these retail is $25.00.

Pros:

Works as detailed. Not worth the $40 @ Best Buy. Purchase on Amazon for under $9!

Cons:

Can sound staticky. Stations can lose signal from time to time. Cord obstructs the insertion of USB. Requires a USB extension cord.

This product is easy to use and has a usb port you can charge your MP3 play while you listen to music. One strange thing ( and it is probably my car radio) the frequency they recommend doesn’t exist on my car also I live in an area where there are very few if any unused frequencies. When I do find one the sound is usually clear. All in all worth the money.

I bought it for my iphone so I can listen to the ipod and use it as hand-free speaker phone.

I am using FM 90.5 band without any problem( NY city metropolitan area). The sound quality is very good except when I drive through a high interference area.

Overall, it is practical and easier to use than the ear phone

The set up was quite easy – I would say it is plug and play. You also have the option to charge your MP3 player through the charger. I can use it with my blackberry, as well as my ipod. The sound quality is reasonable good – but the expectation can’t be too high for this or any other FM transmitter – since radio waves are used, there will always be some quality loss and interference due to other radio stations out there. If that’s an issue with you, consider getting audio input hard wired in your car, but that can cost you a lot more.

Hence I recommend this product and am very satisfied.

Ok, so I got this for $1.73 used so its a bit biased. However there is nothing wrong with this player, works wonderfully, i always get good sound quality and its handy having access to all frequencies. One problem was getting 87.9 to transmit, well I followed a review and put the device in international mode (hold preset for about 15+ secs to change US-Intl.). However this led to the device turning off, after a bit more research I found out its because it was in intl mode, so i changed it back to US (not a big deal) and it still transmitted on 87.9, however the player said 107.9 (it didnt transmit on 107.9, but rather 87.9). So if you device is turning off randomly, just change it back to US mode and try 107.9 to get 87.9 or deal with another station. Also LX transmits in stereo and DX transmits in mono, but gives it a stronger signal. Anyways, hope this helps anyone having trouble. I love it, no batteries, a USB port to charge my mp3 player, no problems except for the ones noted above. Not to mention $6 after S&H, beats a $40 fm transmitter anyday.

Easy to install, just follow the manual. The sound quality is good, providing the volume of the MP3 player is set at mid range, too high will give distortion, too low will produce some hiss. Works with any MP3, CD or cassette player, even with a laptop or netbook, anything with a 3.5 mm headphone output.

This may not be the highest quality unit; however it seems to function and the price was fantastic and it arrived quickly.
